Amelia Cooper Boomershine

Amelia is a Deacon in the United Methodist Church and Director of GoTell Communications. Her vocation is to communicate the biblical tradition to people who live in digital culture. This has led her to work in both oral and digital storytelling.

Amelia has been active in the Network of Biblical Storytellers for 15 years, as Coordinator, newsletter editor, workshop presenter, and local Guild leader. Major digital projects include: American Bible Society’s Multimedia Bible Project; web site on the book of Joshua and video designed to encourage women to “Get on the WWW”; print educational materials accompanying "The Storykeepers," an animated children’s biblical storytelling video series; Lumicon Digital Productions and Institute.

Amelia lives and works with her husband Tom Boomershine in Dayton, Ohio. She likes to hike, bike, and take off for the hills with Tom in their RV.
