Philip Ruge-Jones
Philip Ruge-Jones is an Associate Professor of Theology at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. He has served as the convener of the NOBS SEMINAR for the past several years. He is a storyteller and scholar who has taught courses to university students in the area of Performance Criticism. Many of the insights in the opening chapter of his forthcoming book, The Word of the Cross in a World of Glory were formulated in the conversations of the NOBS SEMINAR.
He earned his B.A. from Lawrence University, his M.Div. from Luther Seminary and his Ph.D. from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in the area of systematic theology.
