Weldon Nisly
Weldon Nisly is the pastor of the Seattle Mennonite Church. He has served as on a Christian Peacemaker Team in Baghdad as the bombs fell during the US invasion of Iraq. In fine Mennonite tradition he has sought to love those whom his country has named enemies and has witnessed to the non-violent love that Jesus proclaimed and embodied. He is especially concerned about how biblical stories might shape communities of faith and offer the world a transformative alternative to violence.
